head football coach

Scott City High School is announcing a change in leadership for its football program. The Rams are pleased to announce that Coach Brian Beaubien will be our next head football coach.

Coach Beau brings a wealth of experience and success as he takes over as the Scott City Rams head football coach. He is a proven coordinator on both sides of the ball and is currently the Defensive Coordinator for Donelson Christian Academy (DCA) in Nashville, TN where he has coached for the last 7 years. He was also the head coach at Kenwood High School in Clarksville, TN with previous coaching/coordinator experience at Creek Wood High School (TN), Covington High School (TN) as well as college coaching experience at Anderson University in Anderson, IN where he was the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator. Coach Beau played collegiately for the University of Evansville in Evansville IN where he was a 3 year starter at wide receiver and a 4 year letterman.

Coach Beau’s coaching philosophy is to love and develop kids. It’s his desire to help them grow as young men, as students, and as athletes. He believes in demanding excellence from his players and building relationships while still being a “teacher of the game of football”. This overall philosophy for leading a successful program is based on his years of experience and love for the game of football.

“While I was not necessarily expecting to move from DCA, this opportunity was something my family and I had to consider, especially with our family ties to Southeast Missouri. We have close family and friends in the Cape area and look forward to being a part of the tight knit community here in Scott City,” said Coach Beau. Coach Beau is married to his wife Megan, who was born in Sikeston, MO with close family ties to the New Madrid area. They have 3 wonderful sons together, Eli(14), Max(12), and Case(6).
