Scott City R-1 School District

The Scott City Varsity Baseball team won the District Title in convincing fashion by downing the Chaffee Red Devils 12-2! Blake Wilburn picked up the win by going 4 strong innings giving up no runs and striking out 6. While Colin Blaylock locked the game down by keeping the Red Devils in check for the final 2 innings.  At the plate Luke Holder and Chase Venable paced the Ram attack. Holder went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs and Chase Venable went 3 for 4 with the game winning RBI. The Rams move on and will face the East Prairie Eagles next Tuesday May 24th at home. The game will be played at the City Park baseball field. Tickets can only be purchased  online.
