School bus safety is one of the most important jobs we have here at SCR1. Our bus drivers work hard to pick up and deliver your students safely to school and home each day. As a driver, you play a vital role in keeping our students safe. Remember to drive slowly in school zones and near bus stops. Be alert and look for children running to the bus stop, especially when there are no sidewalks. STOP for the flashing red lights of the school bus and the stop sign arm, regardless of which direction you are headed. Remember that bus lights work just like traffic lights. Yellow lights means the bus is slowing down preparing to stop. Red lights and the stop arm mean the bus has stopped to pick up students. If we all do our part, our students will continue to arrive safely at school! #RamSafety #SCWeR1
