Ram Fans, As we approach the upcoming spring sports season, we would like to inform you of an important update. Effective immediately, there will be an admission fee for all High School and Junior High Track, Baseball, and Softball events. This decision was made after thoughtful consideration by our School Board, with the goal of supporting our students and enhancing our athletic programs. To make this transition easier for our community, we are offering prorated yearly sports passes for $50, which will be available for purchase. Interested individuals can call or stop by the High School office and speak with Kristen Kern to purchase a pass. We appreciate your understanding and support as we implement this change, and we look forward to an exciting and successful season ahead! -SCR1 Admin Team

We have several families that qualified for F/R lunches last year but have not completed a new application to continue with that lunch status. Have you ever wanted to become a substitute teacher but didn't have enough college credits? It's possible by attending a Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education training session! Scott City R-1, in cooperation with Mineral Area College, is offering this training for free (to qualifying applicants)! The training will be held at Scott City High School on December 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th and 13th. All sessions will be held in room 25 from 4-8pm. Follow the directions in the flyer to get registered. This week, our amazing faculty and staff took part in a secret "Underground Spirit Week"! 🎉 They rocked a different theme each day, all while keeping it under wraps to see if their students could catch on. It was a blast for both students and teachers alike! At SCE we are rewarding positive behavior and excellent attendance. Each Friday, we will present the traveling trophies to the winning classes. There is a trophy for Computer class, Art class, Music class, PE, the Cafeteria, and for excellent Attendance. The winning classes will be able to keep the trophies in their room for the week. At SCE we are focused on showing kindness to others and being the best person we can be. #WeAreSCE #SCWeR1

Our Jazz Band had an incredible time performing at Chaffee Nursing Center, Cape Town, and Chateau Girardeau, spreading joy and music to the residents. We also teamed up with the Chaffee High School Jazz Band for an unforgettable performance! Way to go, Rams! 🐏🎶 #SCWeR1

The Scott City Elementary Christmas Store is one of our favorite traditions at SCE. We graciously accept new or slightly used donations of items that a child would want to give to a parent/guardian. Donations can be dropped off at the elementary office. SCE Christmas Store date is Dec. 18. Donations are being accepted now and the deadline is December 16th.
