The Scott City R-1 School District is seeking qualified applicants for a high school special education teacher beginning 2nd semester of the 2021-2022 school year. Qualifications include a valid Missouri teaching certificate and certification in Special Education K-12. Applications are available on the school website at www.scr1.org or by calling the superintendent's office at 573-264-2131. A completed application packet will include the following items: 1) A completed application, 2) A letter of interest and a current resume, 3) A copy of all college transcripts, 4) A copy of all teaching certificates, and 5)A minimum of three (3) letters of reference, which may be emailed to Marcia Daniels at danielsm@scr1.org . Position open until filled.

Reminder CTC is not physically in session next Monday and Tuesday. They are having "AMI" Days. This means they will have online assignments but not physically attend CTC. Students need to be at Scott City Schools at 11:00 as we are in session. Any questions please contact the school. Go Rams

The High School Science club volunteered to remove invasive plant species with the Conservation Department at Cape Woods along the nature trail.

HS students (9th-12th) can sign up to ride the fan bus for Friday’s District Championship Football Game against Hayti (@ Hayti). The cost is $5 and the bus will leave at 5:30. Students must sign up by end of the day on Thursday.

Scott City High School's Student Council enjoyed breakfast with the National Guard Friday morning. The Guard and the students collaborated effectively to plan for future projects for our school.--
