Senior College and Career Activities
Students attended the Ranken Technical College Manufacturing Day at Perryville this week. They listened to speakers from Robinson Construction, toured TG Missouri (who creates airbags, steering wheels, etc. for the Toyota Company), and toured the Ranken Technical College Welding, Diesel Tech, IT, and the IET classrooms.
The SEMO College Fair was on Monday, October 17th where twenty seven seniors visited 65 colleges.
Thank you to Scott City Animal Clinic for hosting Hannah for a career shadow day on October 19, 2022. She got to witness first-hand a dog neutering and ACL surgery. This helped Hannah decide that she definitely wants to be a vet!

The Scott City R-1 School District is reviewing its long-range plan called CSIP (Continuous School Improvement Plan). A vital part of this process involves getting input from all stakeholders in our community. Please take a few minutes and complete the survey. It is very important that we have input from everyone as we identify goals that we will use as a focus for the next three to five years. We have a great school district. Let’s see how we can make it even better. Please use the link below to take the survey.
