This school year our High School students will receive a laptop to use all year. They will take this laptop home with them every day and bring it back to school charged and ready to go. On Back to School night, August 17th from 5pm to 7pm, your High School student can stop by high school room 3 and pick up their device. There is no insurance cost and damage will be handled just like a text book. We'll provide more details when you pick up your laptop. All other grades will leave their device at school in a cart as we did last year. DON'T FORGET to stop by our website at scr1.org and get your returning student packet completed. Looking forward to a great year!

If you know anyone new coming to SC, please pass this along to them! All new students and their families are invited to attend Scott City Schools Open Enrollment. No appointments are necessary. Just drop into the cafeteria area on August 11th or 12th any time from 8am - 3pm. Middle School and High School students are highly recommended to attend so they can meet with their school counselors for scheduling purposes. However, this process can take approximately an hour so elementary aged students do NOT need to attend. Please come prepared with the following information: 1. Picture ID of the parent / legal guardian completing enrollment 2. Proof of residency dated within the last 30 days. Must have parent name and address listed on the bill/receipt. Must be one of the following (utility bill/receipt, water bill/receipt, cable bill/receipt, house mortgage or rent bill/receipt) 3. Student's birth certificate 4. Immunization Record 5. If you are not the biological parent you will need to provide legal documentation. We look forward to meeting each of you!
