Students had a spooktacular time this month in STEM Lab! They created mazes for Hexbugs to go through; made Halloween inspired designs on the Peg Board; used a Merge Cube and the Object Viewer app to see 3-D images of brains, eyeballs, and teeth; and used 3Doodler pens to craft jack o'lanterns. Our football season came to a close last night when we placed 6th in the district playoffs. We are so proud of the all hard work and determination our Rams displayed this season. Way to go! 🐏🏈 #GoRams #SCWeR1
Our Elementary Student Spotlight for October is Keeley Dannenmueller! Keeley was chosen by Dr. Panagos because she is a pure joy to be around and her presence lights up the room. Last week our Students of Service completed the 3rd Annual "Sweat 4 A VET Push-Up Challenge."
These amazing students completed a combined total of....1,258 push-ups within 20 minutes!
So far this has raised close to $2,000 to be donated directly back to soldiers and families stationed at Fort Campbell.

Hi Rams! Hi Rams! Join us TOMORROW at 1pm for the SCE Halloween parties. The costume parade is scheduled for 1:00 with the classroom parties from 1:15-2:00.
Visitor sign in starts at 12:30 outside of the Elementary doors (by the playground). Once you have signed in you will go to the elementary gym where you can watch the costume parade. Once the parade is over, visitors will be released to the classrooms for the parties.

VIP Industries came to visit the Special Education Department yesterday. One employee is a former student! They brought treats and information to share with our HS students that are approaching graduation, including that they offer all avenues of employment and training from sheltered employment to competitive community employment.
