Scott City Elementary art students were selected to represent Missouri and design ornaments for the America Celebrates display which surrounds the National Christmas tree at our nation’s capitol in Washington DC. Art teacher, Elizabeth Thomas, has been teaching art for over 30 years and was delighted to have her students recognized!
Every year one-of-a-kind ornaments are made by ordinary Americans, representing every U.S. state, territory and the District of Columbia. These artists give their time and talents to design and create ornaments that symbolize the history, heritage and culture of their homelands. The America Celebrates display, which surrounds the National Christmas Tree, is free and open to visitors throughout December.

Hey Rams! Our Question of the Week is "What's your favorite sport?". Let us know in the comments! 🐏 🏈 #SCWeR1

Ram Fans,
As we approach the upcoming spring sports season, we would like to inform you of an important update. Effective immediately, there will be an admission fee for all High School and Junior High Track, Baseball, and Softball events.
This decision was made after thoughtful consideration by our School Board, with the goal of supporting our students and enhancing our athletic programs.
To make this transition easier for our community, we are offering prorated yearly sports passes for $50, which will be available for purchase. Interested individuals can call or stop by the High School office and speak with Kristen Kern to purchase a pass.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we implement this change, and we look forward to an exciting and successful season ahead!
