Junior Lilyan Landis is a pivotal player for the Lady Rams basketball team. On most nights, Landis pours in anywhere from 10 to 20 points for the Lady Rams, despite just being released from her ACL injury only a few days prior to the first home game. Landis is currently restricted to minutes on the floor, but she is incredibly excited to be back on the court leading the pack.

Ramsey Spinks always goes above and beyond with her artwork. This year she will have several pieces being submitted to the SEMO high school art show. She has always demonstrated her talent in art from seventh grade until now.
Little Cheerleaders is back for basketball season. They will be performing during halftime of the varsity boys BB game on Tue. Jan. 23. This camp is offered to any student in grades K-6 and is a great way to support our high school cheerleading program. Flyers will be coming home with students this week. Zydric Veal is a committed member of the brand new eSports program, someone who consistently shows up to meetings ready to work. He is a great team player, always has a positive attitude, and he has been working hard to help recruit other high schoolers to join!
The Scott City Rams Boy's Basketball team will be playing St. Paul Lutheran Giants on February 14th at the Memphis Grizzlies arena in Memphis, TN. Each high school senior was recently evaluated by their high school teachers, coaches, etc. on various soft skills (also known as employability skills). If a student received an EXCEPTIONAL rating in either DEPENDABILITY, LEADERSHIP, INITIATIVE, GOOD ATTITUDE, RESPECT, and/or TEAM PLAYER, they received a certificate and prize! These skills can be listed on their resume and scholarship applications! The following students received one or more certificates. Congratulations seniors! We are proud of you!

JAG students made gingerbread houses as a community service project. Students voted on the best house by putting change in containers. Logan Merrick and Lane Miller had the winning house. JAG president Kobe Watson presented Mrs Tharp and Toy Box with over 75.00 dollars in change.
