The Missouri SUN Bucks Program has been approved! If you have qualified for Free or Reduced lunches, then you may qualify for the Missouri SUN Bucks Program. Please see the flyer on Facebook for more information and how to apply. Deadline for this program is 8/31/2024. Back to School Night is tonight from 5pm to 7pm! Come on out and visit with your student's teachers and drop off supplies to classrooms and lockers. Don't forget to stop by the main cafeteria for help with Free & Reduced Lunch forms, purchase your Water Project and Cheerleading shirts, Boys and Girls club, Cape Youth Tackle Football and much more. You can also visit the High School Library/Media Center as yearbooks are in and ready for pickup. A LIMITED number of extra copies will be available for purchase (cash or check only). Middle School Students are asked to stop by the Middle School Gym to begin their night to receive schedules, forms, Chromebooks and more. PTO will be here with walking tacos AND the Dippin Dots Ice Cream Truck! You can also get help with your Parent Portal account in the Elementary Library/Media Center. All Middle School Students are asked to begin their Back to School Night by stopping by the Middle School Gym to pick up schedules and forms. Don't forget that 7th and 8th grade students will pick up their Chromebooks at back to school night. If you're an 8th grader and still have a Chromebook please bring it to the pick up for turn in. Pick up will be located in the MIDDLE SCHOOL GYM. #SCWeR1

New Student Enrollment will be on Monday and Tuesday August 12th and 13th from 8am until 2pm in the Scott City R1 School Main Cafeteria. Parents can enter through the Elementary or High School entrances for any grade level student they need to enroll. We hope to meet our new students soon! Please share with others in our community that may be new. #SCWeR1
To enroll a new student at SCR1 you'll need:
Proof of Residency (address document date within the last 30 days: utility bill, mortgage or current rent receipt)
Picture ID of a parent/guardian
Immunization Records (shot records)
Legal Paperwork (guardianship or court documents)
Records from previous school
It looks like many of you have completed the online registration in parent portal. We have changed SIS systems this year and if you have not done so yet, look in your email for an invite to the new system. We are also aware of the issue some of you (not all) are having on mobile devices getting registration completed. It is working without issue on a computer. We will be available at Open Enrollment on August 12th and 13th to assist you with online registration problems from 8am until 2pm and at Back to School Night, August 19th, in the Elementary Library Media Center. Don't forget the deadline to complete online registration is September 15th. #SCWeR1
