Last Friday, the 5th graders attended Eagle Days at Mingo Wildlife Refuge. They learned how the refuge helps eagles and other raptors. They also got to see a bald eagle, a harpy eagle, and a golden eagle up close! They explored parts of the refuge, watching the nests of bald eagles and exploring other wildlife, as well as testing their strength against an eagle. Thank you, Missouri Department of Conservation and Mingo Wildlife Refuge, for a great day!
