Miss Ava was Principal for the Day and boy did she get a lot accomplished. Ava started the day by doing the morning announcements and then delivering donuts to all of the teachers. She reviewed the proposed student dress code for next year and met with Mr. Umfleet to clarify some questions and give feedback. She then met with Mrs. Thomas to give her the great news that we are able to proceed with ordering a kiln for the art room!!!! SCE students will finally be able to create their own pottery and we are beyond excited. After that she met with Mrs. Jordan to give input on improving the library experience. We are in the process of transforming our current library into a 21st Century Library/Media Center. Big changes are coming at SCE and Miss Ava was able to give some valuable student input. She also took bulletin boards down, organized the lost and found, and even had time to sit down and eat lunch from Ice Cream Corner. Thank you Miss Ava for all of your feedback and help today! #SCFearlessLeaders #WeAreSCE
