Ms. Callis' 1st grade class had an amazing time in music class learning about the Hopi Indians! They explored traditional songs, dances, and even tried grinding corn just like the Hopi women did years ago. Mrs. Sides even joined in on the fun! Ram Fans, As we approach the upcoming spring sports season, we would like to remind you of an important update. There will be an admission fee for all High School and Junior High Track, Baseball, and Softball events. This decision was made after thoughtful consideration by our School Board, with the goal of supporting our students and enhancing our athletic programs. All season passes will be honored. 🎤🎉 They're going to STATE! 🎉🎤 This past Saturday, our Speech & Debate team put on an incredible show at the district competition at Ste. Genevieve High School! Out of a highly competitive field, our team secured some amazing results: 🏆 Macy - 12th in Radio 🏆 Paris - 8th in Dramatic Interpretation 🏆 Ann - 7th in Storytelling 🏆 Jordan - 3rd in Dramatic Interpretation (and heading to Springfield for the STATE competition! 👏) Huge congratulations to everyone on a stellar season! 🌟 Best of luck to Jordan as they head to state in April—break a leg! 🤞🎭 #SCWeR1

Scott City R-1 School District is hosting Kindergarten Enrollment & Screening on March 21, 2025 for children attending Scott City Elementary in the 2025-2026 school year! 🧸 Eligibility: Children must turn 5 before August 1, 2025. ⏰ Time: Enrollment/Screening takes about 2.5 hours. 📍 Location: Performing Arts Center/FEMA Building, west end of the school campus. 👶 Your child must be present.
