Scott City R-1 School District is hosting Kindergarten Enrollment & Screening on March 21, 2025 for children attending Scott City Elementary in the 2025-2026 school year!
🧸 Eligibility: Children must turn 5 before August 1, 2025.
⏰ Time: Enrollment/Screening takes about 2.5 hours.
📍 Location: Performing Arts Center/FEMA Building, west end of the school campus.
👶 Your child must be present.
Important: Please call the elementary office at 264-2131 to schedule your appointment in advance.

🎨✨ On February 2, 2025, Southeast Missouri State University kicked off the 47th Annual “Exhibiting Excellence” Juried High School Art Exhibition at the Crisp Museum on the SEMO River Campus. Out of nearly 400 submissions from 30+ local schools, only 83 pieces were selected for the show—and seven of those were from Scott City High School! 🙌🎉
Huge congratulations to Julia, Lyneya, Macy, Lilyan, and Jessa, whose incredible talent was showcased. Special shoutout to Jessa, who had three pieces accepted and earned an “Honorable Mention” award! 🏅 This is an incredibly competitive exhibition, and we couldn’t be more proud of the exceptional talent represented from Scott City High School. #SCWeR1
