We believe that what you look for – you will see. At Scott City Elementary they are going to focus attention on students making positive choices. Students that get a Positive Behavior Referral (PBR) are showered with praise and celebration. We call home and share the PBR with a family member of their choice, we take their picture and it is posted on our social media platforms, we read the PBR during the morning announcements, and the PBR is hung in the hallway. These are a really BIG deal at SCE! Please help us celebrate these students.

Scott City Elementary is motivated to reward positive behavior and excellent attendance. Each Friday, they present the traveling trophies to the winning classes. There is a trophy for Computer class, Art class, Music class, PE, the Cafeteria, and for excellent Attendance. The winning classes will be able to keep the trophies in their room for the week. SCE is focused on showing kindness to others and being the best person they can be! Let's celebrate these amazing students! #WeAreSCE #SCWeR1

If there's one thing we all know about Scott City, it's that we're a tight-knit community that truly cares about one another.
That's why on all of our social media posts you see the hashtag #SCWeR1. It represents who we are and how we operate as a school and a community.
We'd like to encourage you all to join us and use this hashtag when you post pictures from football games, band concerts, class parties and more. This simple hashtag will keep us all connected and show that we truly are ONE.

Scott City High School students Ann Baker and Makenna Gentry recently earned "Helping Homeless Humanity" awards by helping people survive homelessness. Street Level, whose office is located in Cape Girardeau, is in critical need of non-perishable food and hygiene items to distribute to those in need. Students who donate can still earn this community service award. Help others while building your resume! Any items listed on the flyer can still be delivered to Mrs. Miller's room at the high school. Please email Mrs. Miller at millerw@scr1.org if you have any questions! Way to go Rams!

Our 4th and 5th graders had an awesome time last week in STEM Lab putting their problem solving skills and creativity to the test as they built bridges! Students had to determine the type of bridge they wanted to build, build it to a minimum of 18 inches, and the bridge had to hold 50 grams of weight. Students worked through the design process to complete this challenge. Way to go! 🐏🧑🔬
