Four Scott City Seniors, Landon Carman, Lane Johnston, Everett Roark, and Bret Walton, attended Camp Enterprise at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center on Friday, February 24, 2023. This was a seminar that allowed students to explore the world of business through activities and enterprise simulations. Nearly 60 students from surrounding schools met with area business leaders to explore various business careers.

Several Scott City students joined 30 other schools for a virtual presentation of Mingo Job Corp. Students saw free programs that are offered in Welding, Painting, Heavy Equipment, Fire, Brick and Mason, Carpentry, Office Administration, and Driver's Education. Housing, food, uniforms, and tools are also provided for male and female students between 16-24 years old. Several programs work with Three Rivers College for college credit. Please contact Mrs. Conaway if you have any questions!
